Chewy Brownies

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 1/2 c flour
• 1/2 c cocoa
• 1 1/2 t salt
• 1 t baking soda
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 2 eggs
• 2 T light corn syrup
• 1 t vanilla
• Confectioner's sugar

"In mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, salt & baking powder. Combine oil, eggs, corn syrup and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients. Spread in greased 13x9 pan. Bake a5 350 for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Dust with confectioner's sugar while warm. Cool."
